Humans have been drawing on walls since the beginning of time when man painted scenes of life on the wall of a cave to tell a story.
In most places around the world graffiti is seen as a form of vandalism or has negative connotations. This may be true of aimlessly tagging or scratching your name into something, however, today it has become a symbol of modern art and expressing ones creative self with more and more cities embracing the artist prowess of graffiti artists.
All these images have most likely been painted over, removed or demolished however they were able to bring some colour and substance to an otherwise blank space for a period of time.
